Idaho Winter Trip 2020 - 12/31 NYE

Location: Island Park, ID

Another gorgeous winter day at the cabin!

We played and played all day.

That night we made a yummy dinner

and then had quite the NYE celebration!

First was the "pre party" with the kiddos!

There's only one Crazy Aisy!

We played games and let the little ones stay up until the 10pm NYE celebration!

Happy 10pm New Years!! Bring on the sparklers!

Then the adults and big kids stayed up until 

the real New Years Eve celebration at midnight!

The lodge lit off fireworks that you could see from the dock.

So we bundled up and marched through the snow down to the dock.

Such a fun experience!

Definitely a first to be watching NYE fireworks in the snow standing

on a snow covered dock!

Perfect way to ring in 2021!

Now puuuhhhlease give us a more normal year!

Fall Family Portraits 2020

I like to get a jump on the holidays before

all the activities take over our schedules.

This means that we do our family pictures early November each year!

That way they're done and ready for Christmas cards to be mailed out 

right about Thanksgiving!

Family pictures are always always a struggle!!

Let's just say usually 75% (really like everyone but me) of the family are in awful moods about it!

But we trudge through each time and miraculously end up with great pictures!
