This signature and most contiguous part of Harold Simmons Park will feature several park attractions, including a 40,000 sq ft event lawn, event building, a shed shade structure, a six (6) tower playground, water play area, picnic grove, skate and bike park, and a one-of-a-kind cable ferry.

The East Overlook, along with the 106 W. Commerce building, will be a gateway from downtown Dallas and the new convention center to Harold Simmons Park's 200-acre nature preserve, trails, and the Trinity River. This urban wilderness is sure to become a favorite spot for local residents and out-of-town visitors.

This is the largest geography of Harold Simmons Park. This natural ecosystem is where park visitors will interact with nature and the Trinity River. It's an ideal location for exploration and finding nature within an urban city.

The 106 W. Commerce building frames the eastern gateway to the Nature Preserve, Trinity's trails, and the Trinity River. Located near downtown Dallas, the building will be integrated into our park design and will enhance the connection of downtown with Harold Simmons Park.

Felix Lozada Gateway is located at the West end of Ronald Kirk Bridge, where Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and Singleton Boulevard connect. This area will be re-imagined with multi-use sport courts for basketball, street soccer, and pickleball. Additionally, there will be a roller skate rink and rooftop café.

Ronald Kirk Bridge, currently a Dallas destination, will be upgraded to become a half-mile linear park showcasing an amazing view of the iconic Dallas skyline and featuring a combination of fun events, activities, and programming.

This gateway to Harold Simmons Park is located on the northeast side of the park and will be an inviting entryway to the Ronald Kirk Bridge. It will be filled with beautiful landscaping, canopy trees, and activities. This area delivers park connection to downtown Dallas, the West End District, and Victory Park.
