So, in an effort to see if anyone's still around, I know there've been a couple posts about Aimovig over on fucking_meds, but: Have you tried Aimovig? Or one of the others released this year?
If you have, how's it going? Any improvement? Any side effects?
I'm on Aimovig. I'm on the 70mg once a month variety.
My migraines are down to about 14 headache days a month and they're generally easier to break migraines. My hands do seize, which is annoying as all hell for me (I'm a knitter), but it's intermittent and it's not like my hands were stellar before the aimovig.
(We also introduced toradol at home this year for if it lasts more than about 4 days. I'd previously gone to my doctor's [three miles away], suffered through the waiting room, trudged back home having gone into an asthma attack somewhere in there, and usually ended up at the ER the next night for haladol. It turns out it works much better for me if I don't have to deal with the doctor's office.)
