A new header tutorial!! I really hope you guys start posting soon!

Make this header:



I just fell in love with the result and really wanted to share it!! I really hope you like it!!!



1. Open a new 600 x 300 image (or whatever size you want)

2. Open your chosen pictures and drag onto your canvas. Resize them and them onto your canvas. Use your eraser tool and erase around the outside of your top picture until it is blended nicely with the other one.

3. Open this texture by dearest
Texture:


Drag it on your canvas. Set to screen.
I got:


3. Duplicate your base and drag it to the top. Set to overlay.
I got:


4. Make a new layer and fill with #021132 set to Exclusion.
I got:


5. Make a new layer and fill with #BF0A30 set to screen Opacity: 55%
I got:


6. Make a new layer and fill with #99CCFF. Set to Colour Burn.
I got:


7. Duplicate your base and drag it to the top. Set it to Screen.Opacity: 63%
I got:


8. Duplicate the Colour Burn layer from Step 6 and drag to the top. Opacity: 48%
I got:


9. Make a new layer and fill with #FFFFA8. Set to Multiply. Opacity : 50%
I got:


10. Go to Layers>New Adjustment Layer > Brightness/Contrast.
Change the contrast to +10

11. Open this texture by dearest
Texture:


Drag it on your canvas. Set to screen.
I got:


12. Now add some text and brushes. I wrote in black and set it to overlay. I added a tiny text brush in black and set to overlay. Then I added some sparkles in white.

And you are DONE!!!!
