On my Adobe Photoshop 7.0, whenever i put a picture on a new canvas, it's always out of place. Like, when i drag it to the canvas, there's a small dashed rectangle and when release my mouse clicker, it's in the wrong place. Then, i went to my friends house and she didn't have a rectangle box thingy when she put her picture on the canvas.

What's wrong with the adobe and how can i make it work regularly??
