This tut was requested on my last icon and banner post
THE POST IS HERE! PLEASE CHECK IT OUT!
1. Open a new 600 x 300 image (or whatever size you want)
2. Open your two pictures. I used this and this. Resize them and drag them onto your canvas.
3. Select the bit that you dont want from the top image. Right click the selection and click 'Feather'. Set to 5. Press OK. Press the delete key.
4. Sharpen your image. Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen. Now go in with your blur tool and blur her skin.
I got:
5. Merge all layers (Shift + Ctrl + E)
6. Duplicate your base and set to screen.
I got:
7. Duplicate the screen layer and set to overlay.
I got:
8. Duplicate your overlay layer 4 times.
I got:
9. Make a new layer and fill with white. Set to Saturation.
10. Make a new layer and fill with #4B0175. Set to Lighten.
I got:
11. Make a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E (Copies merged and stamps on new layer). Set the layer to screen at 40% opacity.
12. Make a new layer and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E. Press Ctrl + T (Free Transform) and change the size to:
Transform:
13. Move the little version down to the bottom corner.
I got:
14. Duplicate this layer move it next to the first one
I got:
15. Duplicate it one more time to fill in the spare space next to the second little version.
I got:
16. Make a new layer and fill with this texture by me. Set it to screen. Place where you want it.
Texture:
17. Select all ( Ctrl + A) and right click. Go to Stroke. Set to the following
Stroke:
18. Make a new layer and fill with #020115. Set to exclusion.
19. Now add whatever text and brushes you want. I used a tiny text brush by colorfilter and wrote 'keira' in LainieDaySH
