When we got back from Thanksgiving break, we had a little snow!
The kids made gingerbread houses, and Annie made some Christmas cookies.
Julie had an awesome drum recital! Annie had choir (she had a solo!) and orchestra concerts, and Kate had a band concert.
Neighborhood Christmas party--we got to see Santa & Mrs. Clause. We also had a cute church Christmas party.
Happy 39th birthday to me. David took me out a few times and I got pasta every time.
David went to the Millenial Choir & Orchestra concert with the girls and they loved it. They went right before his trip to Texas for back surgery. Grant got sick after he left; strep throat and then something else. Julie got sick, too. But we all got better before Christmas.
My mom came out to visit while David was gone, and she got to see some kid's concerts and did an early Christmas with the kids.
Happy 14th Birthday, Kate! I took her and some friends to the semi-final's women's college volleyball tournament. It was pretty great! On her actual birthday, we made breakfast in bed, went shopping, went to the Nutcracker, went to Olive Garden for dinner, and had a family party at home that night.
I took the kids to Union Station and the Giving Machines.
Julie wrapped up winter soccer. We did caroling with the Sego's.
Merry Christmas! All our usual friends had family in town, so we did our own thing on Christmas Eve and Christmas. We helped our neighborhood set up luminaries, and took them down, and the weather was so warm that week so we had a nice walk through the neighborhood that night.
We went on a trip to UT/ID for a few days to play with cousins during the break.
