I'm sure I've used this song title before at some point, but oh well. I've stopped caring, but it was the last thing on my Spotify rotation.

I had a major writing breakthrough today.

I do not know how to fucking plot a book.

I plotted a television show, instead, and boom. That made sense. I started to see everything in a moving picture.

I wrote out a good ways in shot-list format and I plan to do this not for every scene, but for every time that I get stuck.

I tried this awhile ago for the Wide Open Spaces version and it definitely helps with dialogue as well as action. 

I also updated the ages and the target audience so that I can swear. That helped a lot with being more comfortable in voice and tone.

Anyway. On a personal level, it was a decent day. We drove out to Maltby to go to the farm and garden center we like out there. It was a little too crowded for comfort (first nice day all week, Sunday, social distancing, etc). Lotte was really cranky today I think because I've been kind of ignoring her while being all existential, so I'm going to try to cut that out. We had a better second half of the day.
