And when you seize your father's fallen sword, do so in full rage, for Odin respects only strength. Show courage in revaling yourself, and cry such tears as may show that you understand loyalty, and family, and honor. And when you show your rage let it be real. For in anger, there is truth. They will take your words as the utterings of a child. They will fail to understand that theres is a difference between statements of rage and statements of fact— and that there is an even more profound difference between threats and prophecies.

and still call myself a man

The cycle Ragnarok works in mysterious ways. When Thor called forth the Asgardians from their mortal shells, Asgard was surprised to find Loki much more boobtacular. Loki claimed it a mysterious twist of fate— the more things stay the same, the more they change. A new beginning, a new body.

But he was lying. Loki had used the vagaries of reincarnation to usurp Sif's body and keep her locked up in the husk of a dying woman. He used that fact to torment her while he used her face to reshape his reputation. It was, by all accounts, a dick move.

SOME OBSERVATIONS
— I play Loki c. Thor #603, right before he surrenders Sif's body.
— I always use male pronouns to refer to Loki. ICly, characters are free to make their own assumptions.
