Fun times at Disneyland!!!

For the girl's spring break we headed down to Southern California to visit my niece and her family. We had such a great time and loved being back in our old stomping grounds!!!

The girls were so excited to spend a couple of days at Disneyland while we were there!

Thanks to Aunt Jill, we all spent the night at the Grand California Hotel. Since Hailey had just celebrated her 4th birthday, Mickey and Minnie left her some balloons and signed pictures!

Girl's Trip to New York City!

At the beginning of November I went with my 2 sister's and 4 SIL's to New York. We had an amazing time staying at my sister's place and enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. We went to lots of fun places, ate yummy food, and shopped!!

The weather was beautiful while we were in New York. This a view of Central Park from the apartment. The leaves were gorgeous.

Their apartment is in the same building as the New York City Temple. Here is a picture from the roof looking down at the angel Moroni.

We got tickets to Regis and Kelly!! It wasn't a great show, but we had fun going!

Eating dinner at Shake Shack!! Which by the way was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted.

The weekend we were there was the New York City Marathon. This is me at the finish line!

Lost Tooth!

Guess who lost their FIRST TOOTH!!!

(With a little help from her Uncle, the Dentist, but who's counting. Those cute baby teeth of her's just don't want to come out)

Lindsey was so excited to put her tooth under her pillow. She was equally excited the next morning to tell what the Tooth Fairy left!

Back to School!

The girls started school this past Tuesday!! Allison is in the 4th grade and Lindsey is in 1st grade! It is so strange for me to only have one at home. (Not sure I like it.) Hailey misses her playmate Lindsey and asks me all day long "when will the girls be home."

They were both so excited the night before school. Got their backpacks all set up, clothes and shoes were laid out, and I even made their hair bows that night!

They did not want to ride the bus on the first day so luckily it was Randy's day off and were both able to take them.

Arizona

Right when school got out the girls and I headed down to Arizona for some much needed R&R.

My sister's backyard is the perfect place for that R&R.. Who wouldn't want to wake up to this every morning. (That is why our week vacation turned into an 11 day vacation.)

The girls loved swimming every day and the weather was perfect.

Allison, Lindsey, and their cousins did a musical theater class while we were in town. At the end of the week they did a performance of Oklahoma!! Which was so cute and something I have been listening to all summer!

One of the main reasons we wanted to go to AZ was too see our dear friends the Lambson's before they moved to TX. These 2 girls have known each other since they were 1 and have been great friends since. Allison and Anna will always talk about their BFF from California!

Last Day of School!

Yes, I realize at the last day of school was ages ago, I am just slow. (and I can't get my 4th of July pictures to download on my computer.)

The last day of school always makes me cry. Not because I am sad to have my kids home! Sad because it means they are growing up! I don't know what I am going to do with Lindsey in school all day next year.
