3. It pains me to announce that holmesverse will be taking a semi-longterm hiatus after this round. I have been unable to attract enough new members to replace those members whose lives have gotten busy, and I am getting busier myself, which means that I am unable to keep this community roaring along. So, I hope to re-gauge interest in the community either just before or just after the new episodes air, and determine then if there is enough investment to start the comm up again. If you think you might still be interested at that time, please do keep the comm on your friends list, so you can catch that post when it goes up. Also, hv_apt_221b will still be available during this time - please feel free to post there if the mood to do so strikes you, even if it's just to randomly chat. You are all amazing human beings and I've enjoyed being here with you!

Second, I'm going to simplify and slow the pace of the community down a bit for this case. Most of the challenges will probably be a bit more straightforward than they may have been in the past.

- there will be 1 long term challenge running at a time, lasting a month
- fic and graphics challenges will run for two weeks, new challenges will be posted each Sunday (and I will try to alternate harder and easier challenges)
- brainwork games/puzzles will last one week, new challenges will be posted each Wednesday
