Merry Christmas and Farewell 2014...

The Bleazard’s Top 14 Moments of 2014

Brock turned ONE on July 15th! He is a tall, skinny tike with a lot of fire in his personality. He is a persistent trouble maker, a binki addict, a big tease, Jack’s little shadow, Mommy’s apendage, and Dad’s sprinkler moving buddy. He loves washing dishes and shooting hoops. The Brockster is a dare devil monkey. He seems to thrive in dangerous situations! He says “yeah” more than anything else. He also loves to be naughty. Yet we can’t get enough of his handsome face and contagious smile.

Jack turned TWO on January 12th! This kid keeps us laughing and feeling loved. We have loved watching him learn this past year. From letters and numbers to batting and sumer-saults, he hasn’t stopped getting excited about all that life has to offer. He adores his little bro and eagerly tries to help take care of him. He is wonderful at sharing too. Jack is obsessed with sports, tractors, trucks, the letter w and number 2. Speaking of the number 2…he is completely potty trained!

We completed THREE major projects in our yard this year- planted a garden and flower beds, laid sod, and poured a patio and rv pad. We have truly enjoyed beautifying our home. Sarah has fallen in love with flower beds and can’t wait for spring.

In May, we celebrated FOUR years of marriage! Symbolic of how crazy those four years have been, we celebrated by tackling a ropes course 50 feet off the ground in Park City. We love sharing adventures together, so bring on eternity.

Heath took FIVE different trips to Montana, Colorado, and Texas to purchase new cows to build and improve the Angus herd. So far he has been very excited with the purchases and won’t stop talking about the calves that they will be having.

Together, Jack and Brock experienced at least SIX Tumbles down our steep driveway. Scooter crashes, tripping while running, face plants, bloody noses, lots of scrapes- these boys are all boy. They can’t get enough outside time.

This fall Jack and Sarah started participating in a joy school group. SEVEN 3 year olds in our house at one time = chaos. But Jack loves his friends and learning.

Heath slayed well over EIGHT million mosquitos this summer while he worked for the county’s mosquito abatement district. Sarah isn’t sure if Heath killed them or made them hungier because she still got eaten alive each summer night.

NINE hundred trips to the blue park down the street from our house were taken this past year. The boys would live there if
we let them.

In the spring, TEN hurdlers were adopted by Sarah as her own kids. She loved every minute of coaching track at SHS and her assistants Jack and Brock liked it most days too. Her love of coaching led her to become a fitness coach and has been so happy helping others learn to live healthy.

ONE wedding on the Bleazard side + ONE wedding on the Lambert side = lots of wedding celebrations this year and two new brother-in-laws! Congrats to Haili & Tyler and Kristi & Blade!

TWELVE is the number of new bovine (cows) purchased this year. And the number of sprinkler lines Heath moved numerless times spring to fall, and the number of loads taken to move the cattle to new pastures. All three boys are clearly in their element at the field in erda. Sarah loves the peace there and watching her boys be cowboys. She is starting to love the cows ;)

THIRTEEN fun family adventures happen in 2014. Seven Peaks, Tracy Aviary, Lagoon, boating at Jordanelle, the zoo, Snowbird with the Bleazard side, Kamas Fiesta Days with the Lambert side - to name a few. Family time is our favorite time. Whether we are working or playing, we love being together…(with the exception of 3 am when Jack thinks he needs to come into our bed- then, not so much)

We have FORTEEN bazillion reason to be grateful for our Savor this year. Through Him we have become closer together as husband and wife, we’ve become better parents, and have been able to overcome and bare our pains and trials. When we have chosen to come unto Him and learn of Him, peace has filled our home, forgiveness has radiated our hearts, and service has been our desire. Those FORTEEN bazillion reasons we are grateful for Christ is because we are far from perfect, but Because of His gift to all of us, we can be.

May we all remember the true gift of christmas this year!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
We LOVE YOU!

Out of the Mouth of Babes

The boys and I were visiting Aunt Jamie to help her with some color deciding with the remodeling on their new place. Afterwards we decided to go surprise the Hatchs with a visit. As we turned onto their street Jack squealed and then said "I so excited mom! I really like Emily. She is my best. She is my best girl ever." He and Emily sure to have fun together! He also squealed when we had to leave, but not out of excitement.

Last night in the tub, I told our Captain to lay on his back float to get the soap out of his hair. He laid back and with a huge smile said, "Like Jesus get baptized!"

Simple Moments : The Things that Matter

The last few weeks I've felt really anxious and stressed. Heath has been needing to spend several nights a week over in Grantsville working at the barn on their fodder project. Our dishwasher stopped working and my lap top had a virus and the optical disc drive is completely done for. Jack's preschool group was scheduled at our house and I had been facing a few hiccups in some projects I was workng on. And most importantly, we were trying to schedule a day we could go to the temple. Definitely ordinary things, not the end of the world, but I was struggling dealing with it all.

Hind sight, I realize Satan was doing his best to stress me out and hoped that I would use it as an excuse for not making the trip into the city. I think he knows I have a hard time leaving my boys when I'm stressed and anxious.

It was a blessing he didn't win that battle because I got to spend a lovely afternoon in my favorite place, with my favorite person. It gave me a glimpse of and reminded me why I want to win the war against that evil one. The material things, like a lap top, dishwasher, or having a cute craft for a preschool group, really don't matter. I shouldn't let myself get worked up over them.

However this place, this guy, and our handsome boys are everything that matter.

Snapshots of Summer 2014

While I'm playing catch up on journaling, I'm falling farther behind! So here's my attempt completely get up to date by documenting with just a few words, loads of pictures, and a few short video clips.

Grandma Kristy's Zoo Party

Grandma Kristy invited all her grand kiddies to a day at the zoo with her. What a fun day for the boys! Jack was a little disappointed the giraffes weren't out and about, but the lions and elephants made him feel a bit better. The best part for me was seeing Jack and Brockster have fun with their cousins.

All the little tigers...
