Changing the timeline depth
It’s really important to be able to stretch the timeline while editing so we can see the sound waves clearly. It would also be great to change the volume right there on the timeline and add background music.

Show file names during export
Currently, Screen Studio doesn’t show the file name during the export process. This makes it very difficult to manage workflow when exporting multiple files at once. It is mandatory for us to be able to recognize which file is which.

More Granular Speeds
Hi, It would be a great improvement to be able to set speeds in the range of 1x - 1.2x This would help out with narrated demo videos where 1.2x is too fast to sound normal. Thanks!

My favorite thing to do is shill out billion dollar feature ideas, I just started to drop them on my linkedin (i know, hard sell, but I didn’t post a link lol) Honestly I think it’s so obvious I’m guessing someone has already posted it in here. But it doesn’t change the value prop Integrations. Veo + ElevenLabs would be a brilliant stack... Your customers will have their salespeople make accounts. Plug in API keys to those accounts Now salespeople click to select the clips that reflect the exact features / pain points discussed with the target viewer - custom tailor in their name into the script, and jam out hundreds of ultra personalized videos

Remove background option for mobile device recordings!!
The ability to isolate the screen so I can then use it on other software for websites and things like that is one of the only things that would hold me back from ever opening Adobe After Effects

Naming In The Begining
It would be really helpful to be able to name the screen share directly from this screen here instead of having to wait to name it afterwards. So basically click where it says, built-in, written a display and name the screen share, and then start the creature or click the carrot and rename or something along those lines.

Add the ability to position captions
I'd love to request the ability to reposition captions in vertical videos. Right now captions are locked to the bottom, which is not ideal for YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok because platform UI elements often cover that area. Being able to move captions (like we already do with the camera) would give creators more control and make text more readable. A simple drag-and-drop option or presets (top/middle/bottom) would solve this perfectly. Thanks for considering this!

Add a shortcut for "Set speed" on clip
Hey! 👋 ## Feature Request It would be great if we could have a keyboard shortcut for a Set speed on a clip. I’m having a lot of small clips and parts in a video which I need to speed up to 2x or 4x … ## Current Problem Right now setting speed up is a slow process: “Grab a mouse, right click on Set Speed, select a speed …”. ^ This is really slow and I could be a lot more productive if there would be a shortcut, for Increase/Decrease of a current clip on a timeline. ### Solution Add two keyboard shortcuts which will allow you to “Increase clip speed” and “Decrease clip speed”. The shortcuts wont require you to select anything via a mouse. They will use a current clip on a timeline where’s the “current playback ticker”. The shortcuts will allow you to increase/decrease clip speed in the same order as on the Set speed popup = 1.2x, 1.4x, 1.6x ... or in reverse... Disadvantage: I'm using mostly 2x or 4x speed ups, that means pressing the shortcut 5-7 times till i get to 2x or 4x (based on current Set Speed options in popup) ... That sucks. :D However, I’m using the same speed up option on entire video, so if you introduce one more shortcut to “Set latest used clip speed” too, then I could easily apply 2x or 4x to the rest of clips in the video easily in a really fast way. ^ This would be really productivity booster for me. —- Hopefully this will get into the Screen Studio soon! Too many cuts in Typing speed up
When I am typing something and it gives the suggestion to speed it up, it makes too many cuts and only speeds up the potions of the video I was literally typing, not the potion where I maybe paused for a few seconds and was thinking. And given the high number of cuts, it gets hard to figure out which cuts were actually sped up and which were not. It should make one clean cut of that entire typing duration and speed it all up together. That’s how it should work. So you need to figure out how to include the pauses during typing as part of the same cut.

Pay-as-you-go billing mode
Screen studio is my favorite tool whenever I want to demo something. Problem is, I only want to demo something once every few months. Paying a full month to use the tool a couple hours is just sad. It's even worse if you don't earn in dollars, the actual price is 5x. I don't want to use screen studio that bad, it's just not worth it every time. I’d like to pay less money to use less time. It's fine if you want to charge like 4x. Let's say $29 spread over 30 days is Still not convinced? What if you also offered less features? Just let me export the video and call it a day

Switch Scene with different monitor source
Hi, Forgive my poor design skills . I use ipad as my second monitor via sidecar. I draw on ipad explaining concepts. just like OBS Scenes, if we can switch between display inputs (add fade transitions) , It would be great to wrap everything in single recording. Thanks.

The biggest ask I know will help everyone is the ability for an immediate link like loom to share. The only reason I'm not using this more is because it takes so long to render compared to loom.
