January brought us Buster and the Beach!

Jason and the boys have been wanting a family pet...a dog....for months, maybe even years. I finally started to give in, but only with specific conditions: 1, we adopt, 2 it's a girl, 3 she is small (20 lbs MAX)....well meet Buster! HE...yes I lost that condition, the Rottweiler/Pitbull, who will be about 50-60lbs...yep, lost that one too, but we did adopt him from the Escondido Humane Society. He really is an amazing puppy. He is so intelligent, loves to snuggle (he thinks he's a lap dog!) loves to go on walks or runs. It really did work out to be just perfect!  With all the amazing weather we've been having the boys and I took him to Dog Beach in Del Mar a few times, he even did so good, he got to have his leash off!  Not bad for a puppy who's only 4 months old!

Kohl's 7th Birthday...Arrrr!

Kohl turned 7 a few days after Christmas, and we had his Pirate Party a few weeks later. Lots of friends and fun!!!

Disneyland

Back in February of last year (2010) we volunteered for Disney's Give a Day, Get a Day and each received entrance tickets to Disneyland. We waited to use them until they had all their holiday stuff up, it was amazing...minus how crowded is was.
