Obama, was this appropriate?

Everyone can and should note that I've made ZERO comment about our President. I think that we ought to let the man do his job, just like I thought about Bush. There is a lot I don't agree with, and I'm ok with being disagreeable. I'm not interested in a political debate. But, I WILL question things that don't make sense.

Low Flying Plane in Manhattan

1. As a New Yorker (displaced, but still so), I find this extremely distasteful.

2. As an American, and a taxpayer, I can't help but wonder how much this stunt cost, and just why ANYONE thought it was a good idea. Hello, Photoshop?
1. Happy birthday to Imageoneweaklink

2. For everyone NOT on my facebook account, I wanted to go ahead and promote my new Etsy shop. Please feel free to pass it on to all new moms:

Question for you all...

What would you want for your last meal?

Comment and a question...

I now find it irritating when fun and interesting stuff I find online doesn't have a "share" button for Facebook so that I can post it there. It's not as if I can't post a link, I just like it being more convenient that way.

Question:

Snow - yay, nay or other?

I think its pretty when it first comes down and if I don't have to get out in it. Otherwise? Their is strong dislike bordering on hatred. This strong dislike is often transferred to motorists attempting to navigate it as well.

Question for you all...

Request: Please give me a suggestion for something to do in the coming year that is 2009. Large, small, serious, silly -- but really mean that you think I ought to do it.

Comments will be screened.

Question for you all...

Do you watch things like Nanny 911 or Supernanny? If so:

1. What do you think of the advice given?
2. What do you think of the families pre-nanny?
3. Do you think the families stick with the advice post-nanny?

Question for you all...

Do you say yolk like folk or like poke?
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it!

Happy birthday to Imagepastorlenny!

Question for you all...

When you receive greeting cards - holiday or otherwise - what do you do with them? Tell me - do you display, do you save, how long for either or neither? What comes next? Does it go in the trash or do you do something creative with them? I want to know!

As long as it's a good 50 miles away from me.

I like it on mountaintops. I like it out windows as I drink tea and eat warm cookies. I like lots of snow up north, refilling the water table.

We got about 3 inches in the DC area today...Fortunately, it's the light fluffy kind of snow you can sweep of your car easy, so it's yay for this. If it's heavily falling and I have to drive in it,…

    Oh, so nay.

    And then some.

The kids love it, mind you.

    snow at Christmastime= yay.

Snow at any other time, especially when I have to get up even earlier to clean my car off, or drive in it, or do anything special because of it, is a huge nuisance.
