Specialised Training Courses

IBIA has developed a range of training courses which are run in conjunction with conferences and seminars. Training can be requested and courses run to meet specific needs. Experts from the regions where the courses are held are consulted to ensure each course programme is adapted to reflect region-specific issues, including legislative and operating challenges

IBIA ASIA has developed a range of training courses in conjunction with the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and is one of only two accredited training partners of MPA in Singapore.  These include: Basic Bunkering, Advanced Bunkering, Mass Flow Metering and Auditor Training for Bunker Inspector Bodies.

 

Networking Opportunities

Through conferences, seminars, training, dinners, IMO functions and the members’ portal, IBIA offers both online and offline platforms for its members to access business leaders and potential clients, while increasing visibility of their company. Representation at IMO

Help ensure that your company’s concerns are heard by regulators. IBIA has official representation and consultative status as a non-government organisation at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and represents members at crucial legislative and industry changing debates. IBIA attends and presents its members at the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC), Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) and other relevant meetings.
