At ICAN Long Beach, our creative side is thriving with the launch of two brand-new art clubs: Eco Art and Mix & Pour Ceramics. From thoughtful textures to hands-on techniques, these clubs give clients fresh ways to express themselves, build connections, and dive into the joy of making something meaningful together.
Creativity lives in the little things, and we’re loving every detail.
What a day at @dodgerstadium ⚾️
Our Social Program had the chance to experience an official stadium tour with 47 clients and 3 first time volunteers, and it was unforgettable. From stepping into the dugout to seeing the stadium up close, our clients loved getting to experience the ballpark like a player for the day. The excitement, smiles, and awe said it all.
A huge thank you to @dodgersfoundation for helping make this incredible opportunity possible. Experiences like this create lasting memories and meaningful community for our clients, and we are so grateful 💙⚾️
🎉💜 Staff Appreciation + Birthday Celebration! 💜🎉
Today we’re celebrating someone incredibly special. Violet, our Social Program South Bay Client Manager, is not only celebrating her birthday today but is also our second longest tenured staff member at ICAN. She started back in 2014 as a job coach, and her impact has only grown from there.

🎉 Client Spotlight: Albert 🎉
Albert spent a full year building strong customer service skills through our Supported Employment program at Target, showing up consistently and putting in the work. When an opportunity opened up at CMA Dishmachines, he didn’t hesitate.
Now Albert is thriving as a Machine Assembler, combining his love for hands-on work with the professional growth he’s been working toward all along.
We’re so proud of your dedication and progress, Albert. Congratulations on this exciting next chapter 👏

Huge shoutout to Wally and Carolyn Graves, an incredible volunteer duo who truly embody what it means to give back. Wally has been serving with ICAN since 2024 and encouraged Carolyn to jump in during 2025 and we are so glad she did. Together, they volunteered at five events, showed up individually as well, and wrapped up the year celebrating with our clients at the Client Holiday Party.
125+ hours of service together is no small thing. Thank you, Wally and Carolyn, for your time, heart, and commitment to our ICAN community. We are so grateful for you. 💙

We’re still celebrating the success of our End of Year @icancoffee Fundraiser ☕️
Not only did we reach our $50,000 goal, we exceeded it, raising $51,892!
Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this possible. Because of you, we’re one big step closer to launching the ICAN Coffee Shop at the Torrance Public Library.
