Photos: Centennial Park
Some pictures from Nashville's Centennial Park, as well as leftovers of neighbor dogs and plant life.

Che bella Bella!

Elegant Ruby.

Siblings taking a nap.

One of my favorite trees: a sweet gum. I love the star-shaped leaves.

One of the first signs of fall. It's been very muted this year because of the dry summer.

New daisy.

Crape Myrtle and sunken garden.

Pigeons flocking! I took a lot of these. Unfortunately, none of them quite capture the stunning blue of the pigeons against the landscape. But I tried.

If you're wondering why there's a full-scale replica of the Parthenon in the middle of Nashville, click here.
Also, BOO to whatever idiot park designer decided to put a parking lot between the Parthenon and the pond, thus messing up everyone's photos forever and ever.

I'm pretty sure this is a catawba tree, but it's also the only one I've ever seen growing in water, so I'm not 100% positive.

Dabbling ducks!

"What is this gra-vi-tee you speak of?"

The Parthenon being imposing. Did I mention the "full-scale" part of the "replica"?

West Pediment.

I got really into the columns.
