AUSTIN, Texas - Three people are dead and 14 others are injured following a mass shooting at Buford's on West 6th Street early Sunday, officials said. The suspect was fatally shot by police officers at the scene.

The suspect was wearing a sweatshirt that said “Property of Allah,” and another shirt with an Iranian flag design, according to a law enforcement official who spoke to The Associated Press.

CBS News has confirmed the identity of the suspect as Ndiaga Diagne, who was originally from Senegal, according to multiple people briefed on the investigation. One of the people told the AP that Diagne came to the U.S. in 2006 and was a naturalized U.S. citizen.
