Despite being surrounded by states with legal and medical marijuana, Idaho still arrests over 7,000 adults per year for possessing cannabis. Idahoans spend well over $10 million on legal marijuana purchases in neighboring states every month. Idaho loses out on an estimated $33.3 million in marijuana taxes by continuing to criminally prohibit cannabis.
