Meet the founder.
Ignite Creative was founded by Dakota Dowell, a Branson native with a background that blends structure, service, and creativity.
Dakota was born and raised in Branson, Missouri, and is a graduate of the College of the Ozarks, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Before stepping fully into the creative world, he spent seven years in law enforcement, serving in roles that included Deputy Sheriff, Patrol Corporal, Detective, ATF Task Force Officer, and Police Officer with the Branson Police Department.
During that time, Dakota began building Ignite Creative on the side — originally as a creative outlet and service to local businesses. Over time, it grew into a full-time studio and long-term career. Today, nearly ten years later, Ignite Creative continues to reflect that same foundation: disciplined, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to serving clients well.
Dakota brings that mindset into every project — combining professionalism, clear communication, and a genuine passion for photography, design, and storytelling. His goal is simple: to create work that clients are proud of, confident in, and excited to share.
