A search for clarity in the nebulous world of a 34 year old who, while finding her mother's voice coming out of her lips more and more these days, is still no closer to affecting the air of mature serenity she hoped she would've been able to by now. She still laughs at people falling over, especially if they are wearing suits and/or look a bit posh. She has been accused of being an 'inverted snob'. But only by one person, and she was a twat.

Uncommon Scents

So. I have been trying for a while to find a wearable fragrance that smells of the Argan Secret hair product I have been using, but it's not the Argan oil itself that smells nice and I can't work out what the scent is.

This evening I was in Saino's and I smelled a cloud of exactly the right fragrance, and eventually tracked it down. It was surrounding a girl of about 10, who was pushing a trolley in front of me.

Oh dear. The agony of absolutely dying to know what she was washing in/wearing to have achieved the exact scent, but the utter futility and despair that came with the immediate knowledge that it is a thousand shades of COMPLETELY WRONG for a 36-year-old to go up to a random 10-year-old child and tell them reverently that they smell fantastic.
