I was just making a new rip of JC playing interviewer for MTV Movie House with the Charlies Angels cast for digital_diva and totally ran into another room at the point where JC bends over and shows crack to them all. I always feel embarrassed for him and even used the event as part of a fic once where Diaz was a total bitch to JC *lol*

I also had one of my rare dreams about celebs. In this one Greg Kinnear saves JC from a religious cult and they go hide out at Frank Iero's place, an old warehouse he's living in, but there are huge holes in the floors and furniture keeps falling through but Frank is all "eh, what can you do?" about it but JC and Greg are scared to sit on anything so they end up making out in the middle of the floor and that's when Mikey and Gerard show up and start cheering them on and Frank was giggling crazily while throwing cereal at them.

Am super super busy right now. Am so far behind on getting things set up for the garden this year I'd be tempted to skip it if I hadn't already started seedlings *sigh*

But I did finally get episode 2 of Blood Dagger finished. You find out a little history on the Order in this one.

Well, despite all my best efforts, I have still ended up having to post the story in two places *sigh* Oh well. Here at DW I have created a community, the_blooddagger . I wrote a very VERY short Pilot episode which is already up for your perusal.

The reason I've ended up having to post elsewhere is because I realized, too late of course, that I would need to have the community listed with "Use Discretion" or "Explicit Content". I'm still not sure how sexually explicit I'm going to get, but the story does deal with delicate subjects like rape and child abuse, so the community won't be open for the public to read.

Having said that, the story isn't ALL about those subjects. They simply come up as part of the pasts of some characters. The story is about the overcoming of those pasts and beating the bad guys ;-)

For those of you who are considering reading my story but haven't followed a Sims story before, I should tell you that writing a story with images is very time consuming. I usually make anywhere between 30 and 50 captures per episode, then its written up. This takes about 2 to 3 weeks per episode. So, the story won't be coming quick, but it won't be a burden to read either.

Anyways, Episode 1 should be up at some point this weekend. Hope you all give it a try and let me know what you think. I haven't written like this is a very long time and know I'm a little rusty.

At least that's what I've decided this week is *lol* Snow snow, lots of snow, temp dropped another -10c blah blah blah...

Good thing about not being on the internet is A) I've almost finished captures for the first episode of Blood Dagger!

And B) I am about 2/3 of the way through book #15 of the Dark-Hunter series, "Acheron". The book is over 800 pages, and Acheron is my favorite character. I could not be happier right now. Just when I thought Sherrilyn Kenyon couldn't possibly brutalize her characters anymore... oh man. Poor Acheron. I have never cried so much while reading a book. EVER. I am crossing all my fingers and toes that she doesn't screw up the ending.

And THANK GOD Xfm finally posted the video for MCR's studio performance! They said it would be posted the next week. LIARS. I was getting seriously sick of checking their stupid site every day.

And I just found a bunch more photos from the Wembley show, the Absolute Radio appearance, and yes, even more from the Birmingham show. Do we seriously need more from that? I'm thinking 450+ should be good *lol* But, I will probably add them anyways *sigh*

And, yeah, I didn't really have anything to say. Just wanted to use my new icon, so sue me ;-P

digital_diva  asked me to help her learn how to make CC for Sims3, so I am forcing her to start at the beginning with making patterns. Which got me into making them again *lol* Decided I needed something for aprons, and then experimented with different gray shading mixes for a sort of watercolor effect. Am quite happy with the result :-)


Am a little bummed I find myself loosing interest in watching Supernatural and Fringe. I loved those shows, but they just aren't holding my attention anymore *sigh*

Why do advertisers think its a good idea to turn food products into cute, funny animated characters in their commercials? I will never be able to eat Chips Ahoy cookies ever again *sigh*

Spent the last 2 days trying to rip and convert the J-Wave geekfest interview with Mikey and Ray. And what a bitch of a time that was. But thank god I'm stubborn, am uploading as I type this ;-)

Now where did I leave off with the books? I believe I was on book two of the Midnight Breed series and thought it was just okay. But I have to say, the series got better as it went along. Finally an author who's writing got better over time! And by the last book available I was hooked. So, two thumbs up.

I read the first three books of the Blue Bloods series. It's... meh. These really aren't vampires, they're fallen angels who just happen to have fangs and need blood to survive. It's not the least bit integral to the story and I think the author, Mellisa De La Cruz (wonder if she's related to my old boyfriend Howard De La Cruz?), threw it in just so her books could be listed under 'vampire' *rolls eyes* She's another one of those authors who insists on describing every outfit every character is wearing, in detail *ugh* but has no talent in character development. And at the end of every book, there was no pay-off. There was no big reveal, nothing was resolved, at the end of book three she killed off the only character I had any feeling for... so yeah, this one gets two thumbs down.

And now I am reading the Dark-Hunter/Were-Hunter/Dream-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. First book, no vampire. And I was PISSED. Instead I got an ancient Greek demi-god who had been cursed into a book two thousand years ago in which if a woman in posession of the book calls out his name three times on a full moon he is released to become her sex-slave until the next full moon. In this case the woman doesn't actually think what she's doing is real and, well, hijinx ensure.

Because I was pissed there weren't any vampires and I felt manipulated, I probably wasn't reading this one in a fair frame of mind and so didn't really enjoy it. However, in the second book (I had four because they are the ones my brother gave me for xmas) thank the lord hallelujah vampires! Well, of a sort. They have fangs and can't be out in sunlight, but don't drink blood to survive. They work for the Goddess Artemis, hunting and killing Daimons who I guess are the real vampires as they suck peoples blood in order to steal their souls so the Daimon can live longer. There's a HUGE mythology behind all this, which is mostly revealed in book two and is why I think that one kinda bored me at time.

But, half way through book three and BAM! the story took off, I found myself starting to care about the characters, laughing, crying... I think I'm at about book nine now and they are awesome! Lots of deeply emotionally scarred men being saved by strong willed women, so my thing now :-D

Was taking a bath an hour ago, heard an odd sound outside, got up and looked out the window and saw a goat disappearing around the front of the house. Um... WTF? Nobody around here has goats. About 7 or 8 years ago a guy renting the place south of me had goats, and yeah sure, some of them escaped... nah, couldn't be, too many cougars and bob cats and coyotes around here. 'Tis a mystery!

I have a few photos of how deep the snow got but am too lazy to load from camera *lol* Two days of rain has pretty much gotten rid of most of it though. Have to admit, I was a little worried for awhile because I never got in my emergency food supply this year, oops.

Anyone watch the debut of Being Human? I am... intrigued. I think you gotta be cautious with anything to do with werewolves, vampires and ghosts nowadays *lol* I like that they seem to be trying to keep it as 'real life' as possible without downplaying the fact that, well, they're werewolves, vampires and ghosts. Don't think I'll develop a crush on any of the actors though. Werewolf Sam is a little too lost puppy looking and Vampire Sam is a little too rugged pretty for my taste. I prefer very geeky or very pretty, or the ultimate, a very pretty geek *lol* Although I have developed a thing lately for 'ruggedly handsome with deep emotional scars'. Yes, Vampire warriors who were beaten and tortured in their formative years and are now trying to work through it all with the aid of the right love interest *le sigh*

And in Sims news, I have replaced the two other members of Midnight Breed...
