I am a Second Grade teacher who believes that when we seek to understand the world from a kid’s point of view, we become better teachers. I also believe that when teachers are connected and share ideas, kids win.
I have taught three different grades, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Second Grade, in three different cities, Chicago, Minneapolis, and St. Louis. I received a Masters of Science in Early Childhood Education from Erikson Institute in Chicago. My mission for In Kids’ Shoes is to connect educators and share innovative ideas for 21st century learning.
We teach kids that “together, we’re better.” Why not practice what we preach? Join me as I ask questions, seek to find answers, and build connections while I put myself in kids’ shoes.
