How does this plugin work?

This plugin allows users to clone posts of any type, or copy them to new drafts for further editing.

How can I clone a post or page?

There are several ways to clone a post or page:n1. In 'Edit Posts'/'Edit Pages', you can click on 'Clone' link below the post/page title.n2. In 'Edit Posts'/'Edit Pages', you can select one or more items, then choose 'Clone' in the 'Bulk Actions' dropdown to copy them all at once.n3. In 'Edit Posts'/'Edit Pages', you can click on 'New Draft' link below the post/page title.n4. On the post edit screen, you can click on 'Copy to a new draft' above 'Cancel'/'Move to trash' or in the admin bar.n5. While viewing a post as a logged in user, you can click on 'Copy to a new draft' in the admin bar.

What happens after I copy a post to a new draft?

After copying a post to a new draft, you will be taken to the edit page for the new draft. From there, you can make any changes you want and then click on 'Publish' to finalize the draft.

Is there a template tag available?

Yes, there is a template tag available. You can put it in your templates and clone your posts/pages from the front-end. Clicking on the link will lead you to the edit page for the new draft, just like the admin bar link.

We like this plugin for duplicating pages created in a page or site builder, like Elementor.

Fast and easy to use for most clients, we only wish the 'Republish' functionality was better explained in the dashboard.

Does not work for portfolio pages

My plugin offers portfolio pages in addition to posts and pages. This plugin does not offer duplication option from portfolio pages. Although it appears to work for posts and pages.
