There are very few demographics who are as in constant risk of abuse, rape, homelessness, and unemployability as trans women are. There is no one "place" trans women belong, so they group together like scared animals, desperately trying to make a "place" for themselves, often times only to find that they don't belong around each other either.

Where are we supposed to go? What are we supposed to do? Who are we supposed to be?
Is it possible to stay, let alone be a hero when all you know is fear and pain?

ur completely free to scrape the nvl style settings from the rpy files, it's just a bunch of tweaked numbers for the most part! not super versatile or special, I'm not a coder

the kind of story that only comes out of extremely specific lived experience and artistic interest where im like "only this one person could write this." felt like a movie in my head, you can see the characters and their world so vividly

I saw so many ugly parts of myself in Diana and Sawyer portrayed in such an understanding and empathetic and cathartic light. honestly the extent to which Diana's violent frustrated thoughts echoed my own was uncanny. a lot of her feelings about her place in/outside of humanity are like directly quoted from my brain I swear. their relationship too, mirrors a really personal event in my life recently.

liking it so far! only complaint is that it chugs a little if it renders too much on screen? the turning animation is a bit much when it lags
