Over time one sees a plethora of “tips and tricks”, “best practices”, and “rules of thumb” when it comes to thinking about problems and how to tackle them. Of those I thought I would recount the ones I actually apply or consider. As I go I’ll attempt to attribute them where I can but no doubt others have said them too. Attributions all the way down.
Since I started my latest job, I began documenting (mostly) everything I installed on my work volume (I dual boot between a personal and a work volume). As I like skimming through other peoples’ similar lists I thought I would publish mine. I’ll attempt to keep this updated as I go.
About a year or so ago, I really flung myself into sous-vide cooking — it was new to me at the time (hey, it has only been around since 1799) and I have a penchant for new and shiny perhaps more so than has served me well.
