Christmas cards!

Hello to anyone still checking this blog. (Hi Mom.) I am putting Christmas cards in the mail on Monday, so I need addresses to make sure I get one to everyone. Email me or leave a comment with your info (I won't post it, I promise.) Life has been crazy, and we'll update everyone soon. Only one more week of school until Christmas break!

This summer we . . .

went to the zoo,

and Nevada City.

We went to Lake Tahoe,

and the rodeo.

We went fishing,

and to the park.

We went camping at Hat Creek (which meant more fishing),

and to Virginia City.

We hung out at the Atlantis,

and celebrated our 2nd anniversary in Nevada City (*PLEASE NOTE: I am wearing a bathing suit!).

Jared came to visit and we went to the Rib Cook Off.

We hung out at the river,

and went to Wild Island.

Somewhere in all of that were two car accidents (we're both okay), a pregnancy announcement (Congrats Michelle and Tony!), and Avatar: The Last Airbender in it's entirety.

THE END!

Happy Birthday!

Image

"Dear Heavenly Father... thank you for our blessings... thank you for our family... and Gram always makes the best food... Amen."

Image

"What about me Aunt Meg?" Never mind the mouthful of salmon.

More salmon...

Birthday smiles. I think.

Happy birthday to us.

Slumber Party!

Uncle Jesse and I got to have a slumber party with the boys last weekend. There is never a lot of slumber, but always a lot of fun! This time the boys were especially excited about our new starfish. Yes, Mom. I know the tank is dirty. We're working on it.

Image

I asked the boys to smile for a picture. I guess that's Eli's interpretation.

Image

Jake had all the questions, and Uncle Jesse had all the answers.

Image

The boys made Valentine's for their mom while they were here. You've got to admire his focus!

More of Eli's birthday party!

All we've had time to post from Eli's birthday extravaganza was the awesome video of his red airplane. We're going to remedy that now.

Jake wanted to make balloon animals for everyone, but didn't have the right balloons, so he got a marker and did what he could with what he had!

Image

The theme of Eli's party was remote controls. He is obsessed with anything that has one. This remote, however, was different from the others because it can control boys - at least that's what we told him! Jake loved it! I don't think I've ever seen him so excited about something! Please note that Eli was WAY to preoccupied with his red airplane to care anything about it.

It worked on Uncle Jesse!

And Jake!

Brothers.

We found Eli's new remote control truck parked in the driveway.
