Aasma is an artist on a mission to reconnect humanity with nature. Mysterious and profound, Aasma operates in the service of art and nature, touching something deep within those who cross its path. As a pioneer of interdisciplinary creation, Aasma highlights experimental and folk music as two sides of a coin, celebrating our shared history while nurturing our spirit of imagination.
In 2023, Aasma released Campfire, a sound art piece that invited listeners on a journey through the forest and to a campfire, reflecting on our relationship with nature. The journey through the four elements continues with the third album, Ocean, released in April 2024. This cinematic and mythological work is a “queer-experimental-pop-anthem” dedicated to the sea, featuring grand productions of strings, synths, and choirs blended with natural sounds. The track, “Full Circle”, was inspired by the ouroboros, symbolizing the cycle of destruction and recreation.
With a portable production rig, Aasma creates cinematic and modern pop inspired by the world’s oceans, mountains, and forests. Aasma’s music is a tribute to nature, collectivism, and playfulness, best experienced live through innovative and interactive stage shows.
