Fall is always the best. After the pumpkin paddle races in the lake, I stopped by and scooped out some seeds... we'll see if we can get one to grow next Summer! Jake was going to be gone for about half of Fall break + Halloween, so we lived it up while he was in town. One day we went to the Shops at Riverwoods in Provo and hit up some of the shops. Starting with the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and one of their caramel apples! We went into some fun shops... ... and saw some fun things. Like this real/legit carriage that was actually used by Barnum & Bailey Circus! We also went into a toy shop and each kid got a fun toy/game/candy. But the main destination that day was a place called Provo Beach (I think it's called 'beach' because it has one of those flow-riders and it's decorated beach-like on the inside). October is magical. Just magic. This sunset ride in corner canyon has earned a top spot in the 10 most amazing experiences. It was breathtaking. Experiences like this are spiritual to me. Of course I can't accurately describe how or why, but I feel a deep sense of spirituality, love and gratitude when I am in nature. And it all but consumes me when I'm in nature at it's prime. I feel important. I feel known. I feel a sense of belonging. I feel truly grateful to be able to experience nature this way.
