Sleigh ride to see Santa

Last Saturday we went to Soldier Hollow to go on the village sleigh ride to see Santa with our little family plus Nonnie, Brandi, and Randin. It was kind of a bummer since there was no snow but we still made the best of it and had a great time, after we went into Heber City and had a yummy dinner. I love this family of ours.

The Nutcracker

This year Rylie and Taylie both auditioned for The Nutcracker. Rylie was a snowflake, arabian, and a party girl. Taylie was a snowflake, buffoon, and a candy. They both did really well and had so much fun. We look forward to these fun things every year and I am so impressed with how much my girls have learned and how far they have came in dance.

Rylie's New Accessory!

In January we had parent teacher confrence and Mrs.Worthington mentioned she thought Rylie needed to have her eyes checked. I had noticed she kept coming home with headaches but honestly thought her brain was on overload, those kids learn a lot in the second grade! Mrs.Worthington told me that she had kept her in the front desk up until about a month prior Rylie moved to the back of the class and she could tell a diffrence in her work. We took Rylie up to Dr.Dave at Excel Eye Care and sure enough Rylie needed glasses. She has had to adjust to them but she looks so darn cute! Dr.Dave told her to wear them as she felt she needed to but she has become dependent on them and doesn't go without them very often!

Beiber Fever

So Justin Beiber came to Utah January 3rd to a sold out crowd! Rylie got tickets for her birthday but because they were sold out 10 seconds before they even went on sale we had to get them through stub hub and it was outrageous needless to say we only were able to get two tickets. Rylie was super sick all of Christmas break and into the New Year she was in and out of the hospital and we was really almost thinking we wasn't going to be able to go. The week before Fresh Market was giving away tickets so I put in to win them so that Taylie and Nonnie could go too! Honestly, I didn't think there was anyway that we would win but WE DID!! Rylie was still not feeling the greatest and Nonnie had been very sick too but there was no way we was going to miss the Beib! We decided we would go stay in Provo so that we wouldn't have to drive so far and headed to the Olive Garden for dinner and to pick up tickets! Taylie and Nonnie's tickets were clear on the other side of the Energy Solution Arena so right after Carly Rea Jeppson performed we snuck them over to us for the rest of the concert! It was hot and we didn't have the best seats but we do have awesome memories and it was so much fun to take the girls to their very first "cute boy" concert!!

Christmas 2012

We had a great Holiday Season! Chippy and Snowflake suprised the kids the Saturday after Thanksgiving with a very fun North Pole breakfast and brought some Christmas jammies. They did not disapoint and did something fun every single day of December! We miss the Elves all year long! We went to see Santa and for the first year ever.. NO TEARS! My kids are growing up!  Rylie was in The Nutcracker again this year and she loved it and we loved watching her. We have gained some amazing awesome friends that have become our family over the last year and a half and we spent Christmas Eve with them it was so much fun! It was so fun to be with so many kids this year! Santa spoiled us all again this year and brought us a ton like always!!
