The Good Fight

Today’s change requires conflict, so why not make it the good kind?

There is such a thing as good conflict in organizations. Good conflict feels alive, has traction, stretches you, and draws you in. Good conflict produces results, drives change, solves problems, creates value, and strengthens relationships. The problem? Good conflict just doesn’t happen enough. I can help with that.

Lively.
Energizing.
Dynamic.
Engaging.

"

Jamie’s keynote presentation on culture management in the digital age was great, and our audience members loved it. The material truly resonated with our audience. In his very lively, energizing session, Jamie gave them clear tips — and most importantly, actionable suggestions — on how to implement these valuable strategies.”

Culture Eats Change for Breakfast

If the pace of change is so crazy these days, then why does change in your organization feel like turning the Titanic.

Most cultures throw up roadblocks to change that leaders can’t even see. We blame resistance or poor communication, but in fact our cultures are setting our change efforts up for failure. The good news is you can fix the culture part and start changing faster. We are in a huge transition right now, between the old system that’s dying and the new one that will emerge.

Now, more than ever, you need a culture that supports change. I can help with that.

Don’t Block the Box

No one ever INTENDS to create gridlock. They just sneak through that yellow light, hoping to gain a few seconds.

A similar thing happens in organizations. The gridlock shows up as rigid silos, failed innovation, and ineffective communication, and believe it or not, your culture nudges your people to sneak through those yellow lights to create that gridlock.

You don’t need to transform your whole culture, but you absolutely need to fix the parts that are leading to gridlock. I can help with that.

Hi. I’m Jamie.

I’ve been speaking and consulting for decades, and I love it. I have fun with it. I’m obviously very serious about culture and conflict and change, but research shows when we smile, play, and have fun during our very serious work, the solutions are just better. That’s why I intentionally infuse comedy into my keynotes. Everything’s better when we’re laughing.

Smile, play, and fun make us fully human. We need human-centric solutions as we make the inevitable leap from the old system to the new one that’s emerging.

I can help with that.
