Sanctuary Rescue was founded in 2010 with a mission to save shelter dogs—one puppy at a time. Over the past decade, we’ve built a rescue community we’re immensely proud of and have saved the lives of thousands of animals.
In the beginning, our focus was on rescuing pregnant dogs from municipal animal shelters. Since then, we’ve expanded our expertise to include orphaned and special-needs neonates, senior dogs, and healthy adult dogs. We’ve also snuck in a few cats, a couple of birds, and even a pair of piglets that needed rescuing.
We are committed to providing high-quality care, saving sick, injured, and orphaned dogs, and helping our shelter partners alleviate overcrowding. Our fosters and volunteers are an incredible team of passionate, compassionate heroes who always try to have fun and share a laugh—surrounded by adorable puppies!
