Life has been so crazy and quite relentless lately. We have been battling cold viruses and cold weather. I have been trying to keep my grasp with school starting again with Eric's last semester and I am even finishing my classes, too.
Well, I am almost halfway through the semester. I sure have missed the classroom, but I have greatly forgotten the effort it takes to stay on top of things. I have to re-evaluate my priorities meaning less scrapbooking, movies, TV and other activities that waste time. Kallyn likes doing homework with me but often gets frustrated with all the time I spend at the computer. I am taking 7 of the 10 credit hours online and 3 (1 class) at the campus. This enables me to be able to take classes without having to find childcare arrangements. However, it is very hard to stay motivated and keep up with the classes. So I will apologize beforehand for being slow on updating the blog. Possibly more new pics and less journaling.
Allison is a mobile monster!! She went from pet rock to crawling machine in just s few weeks. She sat up for the first time, got her first teeth and crawled all while we were in Phoenix in December. The next week she was pulling herself up onto furniture and me. It drives Kallyn crazy! Poor Allison! She is always pushed down and rolled over so it is harder for her to get right back up. Kallyn loves Allison so much, but it must be awfully hard to always watch as your neatly stacked blocks ad toys go tumbling down after the tedious effort of stacking them.
Eric has been very busy with Law School applications. But soon we will know where the next step in our adventure will be. We are both looking forward to graduation in May, he with BA of Chemical Engineering and I with Associates of Liberal Arts (Gen. Eds.). So wherever we do go I'll be able to start up easily with whatever I decide to do. I have really enjoyed working with the youth so I have given some thought about counseling, or working with different organizations that lend the youth of the world guidance and hope. Just a thought. But I am so excited to see Eric achieve so much and still have determination to see things through.
