Anybody with a career tip on Jini?

Heard that peer-to-peer is a very active field, but I barely know anything about it. Management listens to me at work, so if I suggest a project they'll probably let me work on it and support it. Of course, it has to make money. Does anybody have any suggestions on a direction I can recommend to management that involves peer-to-peer or perhaps mobile?
