Howdy again folks - I've got a quick question, and then something in return. Have any of you used Sun's SSL implementation,
JSSE? It looks pretty fully featured, and kinda cool, even in the add-on form that it's in in for jdk1.3 (it's fully integrated into jdk1.4 - woohoo!).
I don't have any specific questions, just wondering if any of y'all had run into any pitfalls with it, or noticed problematic performance issues...
Oh yeah - and in return, to show y'all what a help you've been to me, sometime over the next week I should have a working alpha-quality release of
FreeMess, my P2P Instant Messenger app ready for playing with. Currently it runs, but isn't put together, and there's no installer - but if you want to play with in the meantime, comment here or email me (pbrane@livejournal.com) - I can tell you how to install it by hand (the jar file is available on the sourceforge cvs page, but the app requires hand editing some files at present).
