A while ago I read a really good article comparing the features of the Java and C# languages. The bit I would really like to see again was basically just a table comparing the features of the C# and Java languages. Languages across the top and features down the side, with YES or NO to indicate whether the language has the feature.
Anyway I've spent an hour or two with Google trying to find the article and failing miserably. Just wondering if anyone remembers the article or a similar one.
Please note I'm not looking for a "here a short snippet of code I wrote in Java and C#, lets compare the two" type of article. Also I'm just interested in the actual features of the language itself and perhaps the APIs, not the VM/CLR stuff.
Also please don't take this as advocacy of C#. I'm a uni student who had Java classes last year, has Java classes this year and has heard rumours that he is getting C# classes next year. I'd prefer we didn't but aside from changing Uni I don't think I have a choice in the matter. |
