OK, here's an update to

I've configured my Windows account with a password and have gone into Windows Services and changed the user on the VisualCron service to my account. I only appear to get application output in the log if I call the java executable from a Windows batch file. Even then, the log doesn't contain everything I expect it to contain. It seems as though it's terminating prematurely.
Any other ideas on what might be causing this? I'm specifying a classpath and such in the batch file call to the java executable. The batch file still works like a charm when I run it manually.
