Hey guys and gals, just a (hopefully) quick question.

For a CA we've been given, part of it is to make a java applet that can play media files. The lecturer also specified that it has to be able to play files not at the site the applet was downloaded from.

I thought (and was taught) that applets were only given access to the site they came from... Anyone know of any ways around this?
