Servlet Prob

Hi,

I'm a newbie. I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.

I'm trying to make a JSP/Servlet web application and I have a problem with dynamically loading a drop down box on startup.

I have no problem loading drop down menus when a request is made, but how would I do it when the first page is loaded?
