I can't count the number of times I've seen people try to paste their html or javascript into an lj message, to no avail.

Here's a script I wrote that converts chunks of html/javascript code into a form that's postable on livejoural.

Just paste your code into the "raw" field,
click "convert",
copy the converted code out of the "converted" field, and
paste it into your livejournal message.
