Rich Text Editor problems

mozilla)A couple of years ago, I used
this code to build a rich text editor for an inhouse CMS at work. One of the smaller bugs that I've never bothered to deal with until now was that whenever you used the editor in a Firefox/Mozilla browser, the page never stopped loading. I've been Googling and working on it today, with no success.
Has anyone else ever had this problem? If so, what did you do to fix it?
