problems with jscript in windows XP Service Pack 2

Has anyone had problems using previously working jscript (in IE) after applying service pack 2 to windows XP?
I'm having problems with relative path names, often leading to IE crashing. I'm mostly working round those by making the paths absolute.
I also suspect other problems. Something must be up if adding a comment causes a crash...

Anyone else had experiences, good or bad?
