I'm kind of new to javascripts, if I get a script I can modify it a lil bit but I can't start from scratch.

I want some code that will allow my web/file server to auto generate a page with the list of files in the folder, now I don't know if this will be java scripting or php or cgi or what?

I have a program called abyss web server and it generates plain old white pages that are to plain, I looked thru the program and its files to see if i could change it and I tried to decompile it but I guess the ver of Visual C++ I have does not do that :'(
