Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Well where should we start we have had so many events since our last post. Austin is still home and doing good, although he did break his wrist and is in a cast for the next 4 weeks. The twins had their 2nd birthday two days after Aust got home from the hospital and they were so excited about their new trampoline. Addie and Hayden got a new one for their birthday's last year, but it was ruined, so they all get to enjoy this together! Addie had her baptism and it was a wonderful experience for her and our family! She is so beautiful, she and I dolled her up and took the pics ourselves! She makes them look great!!! We have been finishing the basement and have had so much help from my family and we want you to know how much we appreciate you and love yall! Joe and I just celebrated our 9th anniversary, yesterday and what a fast 9 years it has been! We took the weekend to ourselves and went to Cowabunga Bay and stayed 2 nights in a hotel and went to Sundance and enjoyed the gorgeous scenes and outdoor activities they offer there. We rode the lift up to Stewart Falls and loved all the slow time we had together. Then we went tubing down the Provo, and if it were a little less adventurous, we would have taken pictures, but it was white water tubing and we had a 2 hour blast! Thanks to our family for the help we have so generously received from you, and from our wonderful friends!!! We love y'all!

Well it isn't often that he is willing to smile for pics, but he is looking better every day and has lost 10 tubes including all but one IV and the intubation tube that allowed the ventillator to breathe for him and the feeding tubes that fed him as well as the oxygen, gastric and catheter tubes so he looks like a new man and we thought we would take these pics while he was happy. Thanks to everyone for all you are doing to help us, and hopefully we'll be coming home soon!

We wanted to post quickly for all of you who are helping in so many ways and wanting to know the progress of Austin. First we want to thank our neighbors, friends and Mom & Dad and all our family who have brought meals, watched the kids, and helped with the house, laundry and just been a comfort to us. We feel so blessed to have you in our lives especially during these times when we depend on you so much. Austin is improving every day and in the last two days has had some really good hours when he seems more like himself, even with all the steroids and treatments and tests he is required to have. We try to take lots of pictures during these times, now that he is no longer on the ICU we are free to take pics and will post them later on when things settle down a little. He is very sick, but is making progress toward his return home, where we can continue a lot of his care at home where he is more comfortable. We are uncertain what caused this event and are working with doctors and specialists to figure out why he is so sick. After he was intubated and life flighted to PCMC on Wednesday, he spent three days in the PICU and then came to the floor where he has undergone many tests and treatments while his lungs are recovering. We are hopeful that he will be able to come home in the next few days since he continues to progress. This means he is now stable but still needs 24 hour monitering which we will attempt at home. We will keep you updated and let you know how he is doing as well as when we will be able to bring him home. Thanks so much for your love and support.

Conference Cabin Trip!

Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Well we finally took a family vacation and what better time to do it than over General Conference. We went to the Gillis cabin and it was beautiful! It snowed and snowed and snowed about 3 feet on top of what was there on Thursday when we arrived. It was perfect weather to try out our machines! Conference was Fantabulous!!! We were able to enjoy it in the presence of those wonderful Uintah mountains and we just really had fun with our little family. Friday night Mom, Dad, Kate and Andy came up and we all had a riot sledding and riding! Joe and I took footage of the two of us as old as we feel, going down the sledding hill. Hope you like it!
