2 Months

My little boy is 2 months old today! I can't believe how fast time is flying by already. He has his check-up tomorrow, so I will get his official weight then. On our at home scale though, he is weighing at 10lb. He is growing so fast. He spends a lot of time during the day in his high chair, but I finally ordered him a bouncey chair and it should be here tomorrow. He sleeps very well during the night and only wakes up a couple times to eat. He always goes right back to sleep. We all love this little guy and are so happy to have him in our family! ImageImage

Cute Family

Not to brag, but I think I may have the cutest family ever! Lincoln is growing so fast. He is finally out growing his newborn clothes, and I'm so excited. He didn't really have a whole lot of newborn clothes since we weren't expecting him to be that small, so all his clothes are 0-3 months. He has so many cute outfits and I'm excited to be able to put him in them finally. Image Since I stay home now, Kelsee loves to stay in her jammies as long as possible each day. Image I am in love with his hair! Image Daddy and Lincoln taking a nap. Brooklyn likes to sneek in kissses. Image Brooklyn enjoying coloring and watching a movie. Image These jammies are from my grandma and I love them! They have monkey feet and a monkey on the tush. They are my favorite jammies!

Lincoln Everett Heber

Lincoln Everett Heber was born on March 28th at 4:54am. He was 6lb 8.5oz and 18 inches long. I woke up with some really tight contractions at 12:50am. I wasn't sure if they were real contractions so I went downstairs to sit and see what was going on. Being that we had to take the girls to a friends' house and it was the middle of the night, I didn't want it to be a false alarm. At about 1:20 my contractions started to really hurt, so I new they were real. I woke Drew up and he started getting the girls ready. I packed the diaper bag and my bag and we headed out the door. By the time we got to the hospital I couldn't even breathe through my contractions. We told the desk that I needed antibiotics and I labor quickly so we need to hurry things up. They took me right upstairs and got my blood work going. At 2:45am I was ready to be done. My contractions were so intense that I was practicaly hyperventilating to breathe through them. My mouth was so dry from all the breathing, but they wouldn't give me ice chips because I was also sick to my stomach. Finally they got my labs back and started my antibiotics and got my epidural. Once my epidural kicked in I was able to get some ice and finally relax for a little bit. The Dr. broke my water and within 30 minutes I was pushing and after 2 pushes my little guy was here! They put him on my stomach and he looked so small. They let me hold him for about 45 minutes then they cleaned him up a bit and weighed him. We fell in love with him right away and couldn't believe how small he was. I know he was 2 weeks early, but Brooklyn was a week early and was 8lb. I was very glad I got my antibiotics this time around though, I had been really worried about that since I didn't get them with Kelsee. We are so happy to have Lincoln in our family and already can't imagine life without him. ImageImageImage ImageImageImageImageImage

Remembering

I was looking through old pictures on my computer last night and found the pictures from our last trip to Lopez as a family. My grandparents owned this lot and part of the beach and we used to spend weeks out there every summer. We all loved it and will always remember the great times we had. Our last trip was just a day trip so we could get my grandpa to the lot before he passed away. It was such a nice day out and we had a blast! I miss my grandparents very much and am so greatful to have had them in my life for so long. ImageImage Eating dognuts while waiting for the ferry. This place in Antecortes has the best dognuts and got them every time we had to wait for a ferry. Image Skipping rocks. We used to do this for hours on end. ImageImage Looking for baby crabs under the rocks. Image Enjoying the sun and peace and quiet of the island. Image Burrying people in the sand. When we were younger it was my siblings and I who would burry eachother, now we have young ones we can burry instead. Image Wading in the water. Kailyn went out a little bit farther than we used to and she got soaked! Image Making the long walk from the lot to the beach! (Really they are right across the street from eachother.) Image Kailyn had to show Grandpa Roger the crabs she found. Image Back on their lot. We used to put the trailor pretty much where the car is then all of the tents went on the other side of the lot. We had tons of space to spread out. I know after seeing all these pictures you are completely jealous of where I used to spend my summers before I got married. I miss my grandparents very much, but I love being able to look back on pictures and remember all the great times we had!

Halloween 2012

Halloween was a blast this year! Really, it's always fun, but this year was so much fun! We had our ward Halloween party on Saturday (sadly, no pics) and it was a huge hit with the girls. They both loved playing all the games. Brooklyn enjoyed trunk-or-treating even though it was raining, and Kelsee enjoyed it for a little bit until she got tired of getting wet. This year Brooklyn asked to go trick-or-treating on Halloween. The past few years we've just done our church party, but since we asked we decided to drive to a neighborhood and let the girls get more candy. It's actually the first year Kelsee's gone trick-or-treating so she was pretty excited. After the first couple houses when she figured out what was going on she had a non stop grin on her face for a while. Here's some pics of the girls in their costumes.

So Cute!!

I found this picture looking back through photos. It was taken in the spring after the girls shared a bed at my parents house. They ended up doing this for a couple nights after we got back home.

It melts my heart to see these kinds of things. I love being a mom!

Life

Life has been pretty crazy lately. Good, but crazy. Since my last post, Brooklyn has started kindergarten, Drew has started his last year of school, Kelsee is getting bigger every day, and I'm still plugging along. We had a very good summer hanging out with friends, and spending lots of time with family. We found out over the summer that we will be expecting a 3rd little Heber baby. We're very excited and can't wait for spring. Brooklyn is insistant that the baby be a boy, so I guess we'll see next month if she's right.

Drew had a dream that we were having twins. We had a boy and a girl, and he said we were totally freaking out. I, of course, told this dream to my parents since I thought it was so funny. A couple days later they bought these onsies. They were actually trying to figure out which one to buy, until my mom remembered Drew's dream, so they bought one of each. I'm happy with either one, but I do think Drew's starting to feel out numbered in a house full of girls. So all in all, life is great and things in the Heber house are going great.
