My brother Jared got married this past weekend. We LOVE his new wife, Dani. She is perfect for Jared and fits perfectly with our family. We are so glad she agreed to marry him. Here are some pictures from the big event

Who do you think won? I don't know because my dad was the one with her...apparently he is less worried about flesh-eating geese than I am.

Happy Halloween

Dressed like cats, we headed out to trick-or-treat. Emmy was not happy about having to take the time to get a picture. After that, Emmy loved trick-or-treating and only stopped when I took her (kicking and screaming of course) in to bed.Image The First Thomas Annual Hallo-Weenie Roast
This new annual event takes place right before trick-or-treating and includes roasting hot dogs-- hence the name, "Hallo-Weenie Roast". I am feeling annoyingly pleased with myself for coming up with what I believe is a very clever idea.

ImageI decided it's time to start implementing time out for sordid behaviors such as climbing on the kitchen table and counters. However, my time-out chamber proved to be the perfect-sized laundry basket instead.

Ben and I went with my family to visit my brother, Nathan, and his partner, Keith, and Ben's brother, Charlie in NYC. It was lots of fun. We went to a Yankees v. Red Socks game, Spiderman the broadway, lots of museums, and ate TONS of good food. Ben's parents babysat Emmerson for us which made the trip a lot less stressful. We were really glad we had the chance to do this as NYC is a place both of us wanted to see. Thanks to everyone who helped make it possible.
