In Memory of John Burrell

Some pictures of the memorial for Derek's grandfather...so great to meet you all, finally!

So, as you know, we went to Colorado this weekend...while the trip served other purposes, we missed the whole reason we came back. My brother's flights home from Iraq were cancelled and delayed many times over and he didn't make it home in time to see us. Totally un-cool. We are still working on a plan to see him, whether we make a second trip or twist his arm to come to AZ. It really sucks, but we did get to enjoy some family time and beautiful weather while there.

Coming to Colorado!

Yay is mostly what I have to say to this. We are coming home for a few days. My brother, Matthew will be on a mid-tour leave from Iraq and we are going back to visit for a few days. Hopefully this time we'll be able to see some snow. I am really missing that part of Colorado and when we were at home for Christmas, not a flake! Pictures of the trip coming soon....happy Spring Break everyone!
