Bueno, for those of you who don't "habla espanol" -
Doctor Guapo is Spanish

for
Doctor Handsome! Wooh, yeah! Jordan looks pretty sweet in his white coat - I always look forward to the days when he has to wear it to shadow doctors and stuff like that. And in this picture, he's also sporting his classic smirk which we all adore - making him all the more handsome! On a more serious note... In light of our upcoming anniversary (May 5th) I want to say how much I love my big, tall Jordan! He's such a sweet and thoughtful husband to me and he's been so supportive throughout my pregnancy. He's been there for every doctor's appointment and he's always doing little things for me around the house. Most of all, I appreciate Jordan's kind words. He tells me I'm beautiful every single day (no matter how pregnant I appear), and he never fails to makes me laugh. He's the best! He's got one more big round of tests (finals, really) and then he's officially done with his first year of med school! Crazy!
And now, here's a couple more pictures (for the folks back home) of my ever-growing-baby-boy-belly! It's pretty weird seeing your body change so rapidly, but it's all in the noble name of motherhood, no?

The kiddos at school are always asking me questions about the baby and the bolder ones will even pat my tummy and say "hi" to the little guy inside. Instead of asking,
"When are you due?" or
"When will the baby be born?" it's always the same question phrased the same way...
"When is your baby gonna come out?" which to me, sounds so
graphic, but whatever! I actually like the attention. It makes me feel loved to see how excited they are for me. A fifth-grade girl said to me the other day,
"Don't worry, Mrs. Singleton. You're a great teacher here, so I'm sure you're gonna be a great mom!" How sweet!
ps. I don't think I've mentioned this yet... Jordan and I have been called to attend the Milwaukee Spanish branch. Jordan is a financial clerk and a Sunday school teacher for the young men. I'm the 2nd counselor (over the Beehives) for the young women! It's a different church experience for sure, but we both enjoy it. It feels good to feel so needed - there's always plenty of service to be done there.
