Wonder Week

Here is a snapshot of what my wonderful wife, the wonder woman is doing this week:
Monday-babysit for a friend during the afternoon, make and deliver dinner for friend, grocery shopping,  cook dinner for family, and put up Christmas decorations.
Tuesday-teach preschool and babysit two boys (3 and 15 mos) for a friend -at the same time (big thanks to Marianne for backup). Cook dinner, coordinate hams for church Christmas party.
Wednesday-watching baby for friend, deliverying birthday present, deliver hams to several homes in the evening.
Thursday-teach preschool, pull off an amazing young womens' Christmas party!
Friday-doctor's appt, coordinate and facilitate the church Christmas party for about 280 people.
All with a 7 month baby in her belly and a 2-year-old in tow!

UT Turkey Trip

We managed to make our way West for the Thanksgiving holiday this year. Bee and little G went a littler earlier, then J man followed. We spent time with family and friends and enjoyed watching G experience so many new things, including real snow! Here are some pics of our adventures :)

Imagination Station!

right now as i sit here typing, the g man is crawling underneath my chair with talks about swimming in the water, then jumps into my chair, grabs my face between his two chubby hands, saying how the shark scared him and he needs to catch it. he has entered the world of imagination and  make believe.  his creativity has me astounded, laughing and in awe of where he comes up with his various scenarios. now, because the shark is too scary to catch, he is going to go for the less dangerous dolphin...no wait, a snail. he has settled on catching a snail.  you go get them my little fishing buddy!

Halloween Party!

 j man as robin, bee as catwoman and g money as batman!

we landed this sweet little costume at our local thrift store for 50 cents! g has loved dressing up and flying around saving the world from all the bad guys! he even sported it at an outing to target and was completely oblivious at all the admiring stares, wishing they too could have enough confidence to dress head to toe in a batman costume!

Fall Fun

g caught in the moment of taking a break to soak up the beautiful view? of squirrels, leaves decorating the  ground and lots of trees on their way to being twiggy. ha!

each time j or bee come pulling in the driveway and get caught by a very excited g, he opens the car door and hops right into the drivers seat to push all the buttons, hear the loud horn honking and practice his driving skills!

Yard Sale Saturday

Carter Mountain Orchard

These, along with a wonderful family bonding experience, are always our first goals in making the trek out to Carter Mountain Orchard in Charlottesville. 

Truly the best cookies EVER! They hold in them chewy pieces of apple chunks along with melt in your mouth Caramel Chips- impossible to get a hold of in America. ahh! :)

and let's not forget the fresh, warm apple cider donuts! perfect on a chilly fall afternoon! delish!

First day of Preschool!

Look who is on their way to preschool!

mr. g mann will be joining in with 3 other kiddos from the ward at a little home preschool twice a week.

i am excited to see him learn as well as having some time to run errands and complete projects without a little monkey in tow. :)

this lovely random assortment are just a few :)  items on my current meal plan. yep! bring on the carbs and not so much with sweet things, other than a bit of chocolate every now and then. all of this craziness may change in February with baby #2 arriving!

 Totally excited! We will find out the gender in a few weeks and can hardly wait!
